Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 October 2026
This policy explains what information the Humans of English website (humansofenglish.com) collects, and how it is used. We've written it in plain English and kept it short, because the website collects very little.
The short version
- We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
- We do not set cookies.
- Our fonts, images and scripts are served from our own website, not from third-party services.
- The contact form does not currently send or store your information anywhere.
The contact form
The contact form checks your details in your browser so you can see that they are complete. At the moment it is not connected to an inbox or any form service, so nothing you enter is sent to us or stored. The form clearly says this before and after you use it.
If we connect the form to an email address or form service in the future, we will update this policy before doing so, to explain what is collected, why, how long it is kept, and who processes it.
Website hosting
This website is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service provided by GitHub, Inc. When you visit any website, your browser shares technical information such as your IP address with the server. GitHub may log this information for security and to keep the service running. You can read GitHub's privacy statement for details.
Links to other websites
Some pages link to other websites, such as official exam providers. Those websites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.
Your rights
Because this website does not currently collect or store personal information, there is no personal data held about you through it. If that changes, this policy will explain how to access, correct or delete your information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the website develops. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
